RAY BASTIN RESERVE

Public BBQ

The park, fondly referred to as "Rocket Park," boasts a space-themed playground that captivates children's imaginations. With a variety of features, including a disability swing, skate park, and walking tracks, it offers something for everyone. The park is surrounded by lush trees and expansive grassed areas, making it a serene spot for relaxation. While it has a sandpit and public toilets, visitors might want to give the BBQ facilities a quick clean before use. The park's unique rocket ship controls, which once had a recorded voice counting down, are a nostalgic touch for many. However, some areas of the park could benefit from maintenance, as overgrown grass occasionally obstructs views and certain play equipment seems to be aging.
